Mount Blue
Nature
Mount Blue is a more than four-thousand-foot mountain in Benton, New Hampshire, within the White Mountains, but it is not usually recognized as one of the state’s separate four-thousand-foot summits. Its limited prominence, rising less than two hundred feet above the connecting ridge, means it is classified as a sub-peak of nearby Mount Moosilauke rather than as an independent major summit. As a result, despite its considerable elevation, it is generally regarded as part of the broader Moosilauke massif.
