Warwick Light, also known as Warwick Lighthouse, stands at Warwick Neck in Warwick, Rhode Island, marking a long-established light station and remaining an important coastal aid to navigation. The site’s first light was established in 1827, giving it nearly two centuries of lighthouse history. The keeper’s residence from that early era was replaced in 1899, and the present lighthouse was built in 1932, continuing to guide traffic along Rhode Island’s waters. In 1985 it became the last lighthouse in Rhode Island to be automated, ending the station’s era of resident keepers. In 1988 the property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
