Angel's Perch
Nature
Angel's Perch is a high summit in Idaho's Pioneer Mountains, rising 11,687 feet within Salmon-Challis National Forest. Among the range's taller peaks, it ranks eleventh in the Pioneer Mountains and thirty-second in the state. Located less than 2.3 miles northwest of Standhope Peak, it occupies the rugged alpine high country of central Idaho. Its significance lies chiefly in its place as a named mountain within one of Idaho's prominent ranges and as part of the dramatic terrain that defines this section of the state.
