Kent Peak is an 11,664-foot summit in Idaho’s Boulder Mountains on the border of Blaine and Custer counties. About 0.75 miles south of Ryan Peak, the range’s highest point, it is the 34th highest peak in Idaho. The mountain also marks the boundary between the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and Salmon-Challis National Forest, and part of it lies within the Hemingway–Boulders Wilderness. A common route begins north of Ketchum at the recreation area headquarters, follows forest road 146 to a trailhead, and then uses Trail 115 and the south ridge to reach the summit on a class 3 ascent.
