Bedminster Township honored the men who served in World War I from 1917 to 1919, including one Red Cross worker and one Y.M.C.A. worker, and later recognized World War II service from 1941 to 1945 with a roll of honor naming those who lost their lives and those men and women who served in the armed forces, including additional service in 1945 to 1947. Erected in 1950 by Bedminster Township, the memorials also extended grateful recognition to all others who served and remembered all the men and women who served their country with dedication and bravery during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953 and the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1974.
