The memorials honor those who died in war and military service across several conflicts. One plaque bears Abraham Lincoln's words, “We here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain,” and honors alumnae who gave their lives in World War II, naming Edward Brazee, Orville Gove, Jack Hammel, Nelson Hoekstra, James O'Neil, Gale Taylor, Lester Wahl, Donald White, and Charles Wilson. Another remembers the U.S.S. Maine, destroyed in Havana Harbor on February 15th, 1898, and is cast from metal recovered from the ship. A third is in memory of all U.S.W.V. from 1898 to 1902. A fourth is dedicated to area residents who served and gave their lives in World War II, 1941-1945, and the Korean War, 1950-1953.
