Simi Peak is the highest summit in the Simi Hills of Southern California, rising to 2,405 feet in eastern Ventura County near Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks. It lies within the Cheeseboro and Palo Comado Canyons Open Space, part of the National Park Service’s Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. Reached by trail from Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, and connecting routes from the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve, it serves as both a popular hiking destination and the defining high point of the surrounding ridgeline, alongside nearby summits such as Chatsworth Peak and Escorpión Peak, also known as Castle Peak.
