Those from Cedar County who lost their lives in World War One, World War Two, the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts are honored in memory, with the honored dead remembered as heroes who live beyond the tomb, and with tribute also given to all who fought valiantly for liberty, freedom, and justice; the dedication took place on November 11, 1977.
