Terrells Mountain is a hill in Chatham County, North Carolina, several miles southwest of Chapel Hill. Although modest in size, it is a notable local high point, reaching 755 feet above sea level. The site is chiefly significant for its radio transmission antennas, which have made it an important broadcasting center for the surrounding area. Its tallest structure, located on the summit, rises to about 1,300 feet. The primary user of these facilities is WUNC and its sister stations, which provide the public radio service operated by the nearby University of North Carolina.
