The Prescott Family Ranch began in the late 1920's when three brothers, Lemmie, Henry and Jimmie, received a 40 acre homestead in Long Hammock. In the late 1930's, Jimmie married Beatrice, and they raised Seller, Gail, Juanette and Faye. In the mid 1940's, Jimmie and Beatrice bought full ownership of the Prescott Ranch. To date, the ranch is still being managed by five generations of Jimmie and Beatrice's children and is known as Prescott Family Ranch LLC.
