Thomas L. Frankhouser served as a Township Supervisor for more than thirty-five years and left a lasting mark on South Union Township by helping guide it through a period of growth and prosperity. Remembered as a skilled leader with professionalism and eagerness to serve the community he loved, he was also devoted above all to his family, whose importance shaped his life and character. He also held a special place in his heart for the Village of Hopwood and played an instrumental part in managing the Hopwood Village Project from 2005 to 2007, during which numerous improvements enhanced Hopwood. In recognition of his contributions, a plot of land in the Village of Hopwood was named Thomas L. Frankhouser Memorial Park.
