Tripp County veterans are honored and remembered for service to the country in times of war and peace, with the words "All Gave Some, Some Gave All" and an American military history timeline spanning the American Revolution, War of 1812, Mexican-American War, Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, Cold War, Korean War, Vietnam War, Grenada, Panama, Persian Gulf War, War on Terror, Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. Founded by Raymond Petersek, the memorial includes walls bearing the names of veterans from many generations, including those identified as killed in action.
