Julia A. Moore was known as the Sweet Singer of Michigan and as a world-renowned writer of songs, poetry, prose, short stories, and songs. Her works included Centennial 1876, Sentimental Song Book, The Flag, Fourth of July, and G. A. R. Memorial Song. She was interred in Liberty Township Cemetery.
