Established in 1784 by John Baer, this mill operated continuously under the Chamberlain, Hoffa, and Whitmer families before Harry Grove purchased it in 1945, and it is still operated by his descendents. The adjacent brick and stone structure continues to process grain. Powered by water diverted from Buffalo Creek, the operation utilizes two horizontally-mounted water wheels. A twin cell stone arch bridge spanned the mill race at this site until it was replaced in 2005.
