A memorial was dedicated on May 25, 1992, by the V.F.W. and is maintained by the Memorial Fund in partnership with the LaGrange Rotary Club. It bears Franklin D. Roosevelt’s words: “Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them.”
