Tank House ★ Worker's Cabin ★ Oven
History
The tank house, worker's cabin, and oven were originally located at the Cereghino Ranch of Walnut Creek, then relocated to Shadelands in 1995. Their restoration was made possible by the efforts of the Walnut Creek Historical Society, Joseph Bologna, project architect, Primo E. Facchini, president of WCHS from 1991 to 1999, David A. Browne, first vice president of WCHS, Russell H. Green, exterior committee, Elizabeth Isles, museum director, Gloria Scilacci, WCHS Board of Directors, Rosa and John Cereghino and family, the City of Walnut Creek, and Arville Wade, president of WCHS from 1999 to 2001. The buildings date to circa 1902.
