Gray Wolf Glacier is a small named glacier in Montana’s Mission Mountains, immediately northeast of Gray Wolf Peak. At about 8,000 feet above sea level, it covers roughly 15 acres, making it one of the smaller named glaciers in the American West. Despite its modest size, it remains part of the high alpine landscape of the Mission Mountains, where ice persists in sheltered terrain near the range’s summits.
