Wildcat Falls is a seasonal waterfall in western Yosemite National Park, California, near Highway 140 not far from the Arch Rock Entrance. Rather than one vertical drop, it forms a slender sequence of seven falls and cascades with a total height generally given as about 720 feet, though some sources list 630 feet; its longest single drop is about 120 feet. The water usually flows only until May or June, making it a brief but striking feature of the park. At its base, the falls enter a mossy grotto reachable on foot that has become especially popular with photographers.
