Martin's Mill Covered Bridge in Hartland, Vermont, carries Martinsville Road over Lull's Brook in a rural wooded setting near much newer highway infrastructure. Built about 1880, it is a single-span Town lattice truss bridge attributed to James Tasker, a prolific Windsor County bridge builder who more often used a modified kingspost truss, making this design unusual in his work. The wooden bridge remains one of only two surviving 19th-century covered bridges in Hartland, alongside the Willard Covered Bridge. Its survival reflects the continuing role of Vermont's covered bridges as both working crossings and historic landmarks, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
