Old Trace Walk
Transportation
3
A preserved 2,000-foot section of the original Old Natchez Trace follows a ridge 300 feet above the Duck River. Walking to the end of the trail and back offers a short change of pace from driving and evokes the ordeal faced by early 1800's travelers, who had to cover 20 to 30 miles a day on foot or horseback.
