John B. Yeon State Scenic Corridor is an Oregon state park in the Columbia Gorge, about 35 miles east of Portland, within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Named for John B. Yeon, a principal financier of the Historic Columbia River Highway, U.S. Route 30, built between 1913 and 1922, it reflects the gorge’s early development as a scenic driving route. The corridor is also known for hiking trails leading to nearby waterfalls, including Elowah Falls, and for its place within the broader natural and historic landscape shaped by Oregon’s highway and park systems.
