Little Switzerland in Slinger, Wisconsin, opened on December 7, 1941, and has long been a local center for skiing and snowboarding. The resort features 18 runs on both sides of the hill, served by chairlifts, surface lifts, and rope tows, with terrain parks, a chalet, dining, and other amenities at the base. After remaining with its original owners until 2007, it was completely remodeled in 2012 and reopened under new ownership as a year-round restaurant and winter ski area. It also offers ski school programs for varied ages and skill levels. In warmer months it once hosted downhill mountain biking and Gravityfest, though the bike park was later discontinued.
