Allegan is a meteorite that fell west of Allegan, Michigan, on July 10, 1899. Classified as an H5 ordinary chondrite, it was a common type of stony meteorite and weighed about fifty pounds after landing. By 1964, it was one of only seven known meteorites recorded to have fallen in Michigan, giving it a modest but notable place in the state's meteoritic history.
