The Radnor IOOF building was erected in 1854, and Radnor Lodge 250 was instituted on May 17, 1854. Its upper level served as the lodge hall, while the lower level was used as a general store and for business. The missions of the IOOF were to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead, and educate the orphan. In 1948, the lodge purchased the abandoned Methodist Episcopal (ME) Church for use as a meeting place. Thomas Morton, Jr. was the first Nobel Grand (President). In 1973, Radnor Lodge was consolidated with Olentangy Lodge in Delaware, Ohio, and both were later disbanded.
