Bryant Creek State Park is a two thousand nine hundred seventeen-acre public recreation area in the Ozarks of southern Missouri, southeast of Ava in Douglas County. Following Bryant Creek, it protects about two miles of the creek’s winding channel as well as dolomite and sandstone bluffs and surrounding oak and pine forest. Announced as one of three new Missouri state parks in 2016, it officially opened in September 2022. Recreation emphasizes the natural landscape, with two hiking trails totaling 5.1 miles through woods and creekside scenery. On December 31, 2024, its Bryant Creek Hills Wild Area became the thirteenth wild area in the Missouri State Parks system.
