Beaver Creek State Forest in Columbiana County, eastern Ohio, is a protected public forest that became Ohio’s twentieth state forest in 1998. Managed as an outdoor recreation area rather than a developed campground destination, it offers access to Little Beaver Creek, a major draw for fishing and kayaking. Hunting is also allowed under Division of Wildlife regulations. The forest is open daily from 6 AM to 11 PM, but camping is prohibited.
