Little Beaver Creek was designated a State Wild and Scenic River in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System under the provisions of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968. The designation was established by the people of Ohio, and Thomas S. Kleppe, Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior, is named with October 1975.
