The SUB was the first dedicated space on campus for students to gather informally. It included a snack bar, bookstore, dining hall, banquet room, alumni and faculty lounges, and rec rooms for Greek and other student organizations. The Pouch Club was added in 1979. The SUB was razed in 2001 with the construction of the Wright Campus Center.
