Sand Hill is a summit in Noble County in northern Indiana, about two and a half miles southeast of South Milford in northeastern Wayne Township. Rising more than 1,070 feet, or 326 meters, it is Indiana’s second-highest named summit, surpassed only by Hoosier Hill in Wayne County at 1,257 feet. In a state known more for broad farmland than mountains, Sand Hill is notable chiefly for its elevation. It is a local landmark rather than a dramatic peak, and Weston Chapel Cemetery on its southeastern slope adds a small historical feature to the hillside.
