This property was presented by Mrs. Sallie Maxwell Bennett and dedicated August 26, 1922, in memory of Honorable Louis Bennett, who died August 2, 1918, and his only son, Lieutenant Louis Bennett, Jr., who was killed in action in World War on August 24, 1918.
