Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area is a protected landscape in Nez Perce County, Idaho, spanning about 115,000 acres along the Snake River south of Lewiston. Managed jointly by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game and the Bureau of Land Management, it serves as important habitat for mule deer, elk, wild turkey, and other game species. Its wildlife history is especially notable for the reintroduction of bighorn sheep in 1983, reflecting the area's role in both conserving habitat and supporting the return of native animals.
