The J. D. Adams Leaning Wheel Grader #12 was purchased by the Rush County Board of Commissioners in March 1922 from J.D. Adams and Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, for $1,140.00. Rush County resident Robert Hallgarth later donated the Adams Leaning Wheel Grader #12 so it could be restored and displayed at the Rush County Highway.
