Andrews Arboretum is a small public arboretum in Boulder, Colorado, on the east side of Broadway between Grandview and Marine Streets. Established in 1948 by former Boulder High School botany teacher Miss Maud Reed, it was named at her request for Boulder horticulturist Darwin M. Andrews. Open daily without charge, it functions as a compact botanical garden within the city. Since 1989, the arboretum has been owned by the city's Parks and Recreation Department and managed by the Forestry Division, with plantings that include native evergreens, cultivated shrubs, groundcovers, and exotic trees.
