The F.B. Henderson House in Elmhurst, Illinois, is a historic Prairie School home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright during his brief partnership with Webster Tomlinson, the only formal partnership of Wright’s career. Wright oversaw design while Tomlinson managed business affairs. The house is organized around a large, flowing central space subtly divided into a library, living room, and dining room, with a veranda extending the living area into more than half an acre of landscaped grounds. Its more than 80 art glass windows, refined woodwork, three brick fireplaces, and extensive built-ins reflect Wright’s integrated approach to interior design. It remains a private residence and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
