Pine Cobble Mountain is a mountain outcrop in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and a sub-summit of East Mountain in Clarksburg State Forest. Known for hiking, it offers broad views of Williamstown, the Mount Greylock Range, and North Adams from a summit marked by a USGS benchmark at 577 meters, or 1,894 feet, above sea level. A 1.6-mile trail reaches the top across land owned by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Williams College, and the Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation, which maintains the trail with the Williams College Outing Club. Pine Cobble also connects hikers to longer routes, meeting the Appalachian Trail about half a mile beyond the outcrop.
