The Ridgely Flag was designed by Yolanda Mayers in honor of the town's Sesquicentennial Celebration. It incorporates elements of Ridgely history, using the town colors as a backdrop for the "Dream City" banner and train number 513 in honor of Founder's Day. On May 13, 2017, the Commissioners of Ridgely presented Yolanda Mayers with the first Key to the City in recognition and appreciation for her contribution to Ridgely history.
