Celo Knob is a mountain in the Black Mountains of western North Carolina and the northernmost major peak of that range. It rises just north of Mount Mitchell State Park within Pisgah National Forest. For hikers coming from Bowlens Creek along the Black Mountain Crest Trail, it is the first major summit they reach. Although the main trail passes southwest of the top, the summit can be accessed by informal herd paths. Its position along the crest makes it one of the prominent high peaks that shape this rugged part of the Blue Ridge.
