Linden station in Linden, Indiana is a historic railroad depot that now operates as a museum preserving local history and the legacy of the Monon line. Its origins trace to 1852, when the New Albany and Salem Railroad was built through the area after the old stage road between Crawfordsville and Linden was given to the railroad, and the town’s first depot was established. The station stands at its current site because it was moved in 1881, when the Toledo, St. Louis and Western Railroad crossed the Monon in Linden.
