Marysvale Canyon, also called Sevier Canyon, is a steep-walled river canyon in southwest Utah extending about eight miles north from near Marysvale to Sevier. Carved by the meandering Sevier River, it marks the place where the broad Sevier Valley narrows abruptly into a gorge between the Tushar Mountains and the Antelope Range, ending near the junction with Clear Creek Canyon. The canyon is important both for its scenery and for visible traces of local industry, including old mining sites and rail tunnels from the former Marysvale Branch of the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad, now reused as a hiking and biking path.
