Ross Pond State Park is a public recreation area in eastern Connecticut on land in Killingly and Plainfield in Windham County. Covering 372 acres beside Old Furnace State Park, it forms part of a larger protected landscape linked by a blue-blazed trail. The park has been recognized as a state park since 1964, when it appeared in the Connecticut Register and Manual with 181 acres. Its significance today lies in its varied outdoor use, offering hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, rock climbing, and boating access on Ross Pond.
