Citadel Mountain
Nature
Citadel Mountain is a 9,035-foot peak in the Lewis Range of Glacier National Park in Montana, standing at the western edge of Saint Mary Lake. Easily seen from the Going-to-the-Sun Road, it holds a prominent place in the eastern park’s mountain scenery. The combination of the road, the long lake, and the mountain’s position makes it a clear and recognizable landmark within one of the park’s most heavily traveled areas.
