St. Paul's Church National Historic Site preserves an important chapter in the nation's early history through the story of the development of colonial society and the road to the American Revolution. It includes an 18th century stone church that served as a military field hospital during the American Revolution, an adjoining historic cemetery with stones dating back to 1704, and a museum with exhibitions on local and national history. Located at the center of the colonial town of Eastchester, it was the scene of the Election of 1733, which raised issues of freedom of religion and the press.
