Legoland Florida is a family-oriented resort in Winter Haven created on the former Cypress Gardens property after that attraction closed in 2009. Opened in 2011, its main park grew quickly by reusing existing rides, landscaping, and infrastructure while preserving the site’s historic botanical gardens, first opened in 1936, along with several older attractions. The resort expanded with a water park, multiple hotels, and a separately ticketed Peppa Pig theme park, while new themed lands and later additions such as Sea Life Florida Aquarium broadened its appeal. It stands out as a modern Lego-branded destination still rooted in one of Florida’s older tourist sites.
