Doane's Falls in Royalston, Massachusetts is a small nature preserve built around five closely spaced waterfalls on Lawrence Brook, where water from Laurel Lake drops toward the Millers River. The forty-six-acre preserve, owned by The Trustees of Reservations since 1959, takes its name from Amos Doane, whose nineteenth-century mill was one of several industries once powered by the brook; only foundations remain today. The site is part of a broader network of protected land in the Tully region, linked by the twenty-two-mile Tully Trail. It is open for hiking, picnicking, fishing, and limited paddling, but swimming and wading were banned in 2002 after diving injuries and deaths.
