Royalston Falls is a 50-foot waterfall and granite gorge on Falls Brook in Royalston, Massachusetts, within a 217-acre preserve owned by The Trustees of Reservations. Known in the 1800s as Forbes Falls after Calvin Forbes, the area later served as a town recreation ground with a playground and once included a casino. The present preserve was created through land gifts from Mr. and Mrs. George L. Foote in 1951 and 1954, with more land added in 2002. Today it is part of a larger network of protected landscapes and trails, valued both as a scenic destination and as a link within extensive conserved land near the New Hampshire border.
