Starr Mountain is a ridge-like mountain in southeastern Tennessee within the Cherokee National Forest. Part of the Unicoi range of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the broader Appalachian chain, it stands along the western edge of the Blue Ridge province. The mountain extends roughly north-northeast and rises to about 2,340 feet, with its summit forming the highest point in McMinn County. It is also one of the southernmost mountains in the Unicoi Mountains. The Hiwassee River separates its southern base from Oswald Dome, and to the west the terrain shifts toward the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians.
