The Coastal Towns Museum property in the Historic Village in Ocean View includes the Evans-West House, a barn that is one of the oldest in Sussex County, a wood house named the Woodhouseum, and an outhouse. James Evans and Mary West Evans built the Evans-West House in 1901, and it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. Carolyn Brunner and Dan McCann, descendants of the Evans-West family, donated the house to the Historic Village in Ocean View. The Evans-West House is under transformation to become the museum, while the Woodhouseum and outhouse are accessible after restoration by a local Eagle Scout.
