Medical Hall was the birthplace and home of Dr. John Archer, 1741-1810, the first graduate of medicine in America, a signer of the Bush Declaration on March 22, 1775, a member of Congress in 1802, one of the founders of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland, and the father of five physicians.
