Antelope Hot Springs, also known as Hart Mountain Hot Springs, is a natural thermal spring in southeastern Oregon within Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge. About 67.4 miles northeast of Lakeview and 12 miles northeast of Plush, it is reached by a 28.3-mile drive from Plush. The spring emerges at about 104 °F in a semi-improved, accessible setting where camping is allowed. Its soaking pool is about 5 feet deep and measures roughly 9 by 12 feet, accommodating around six people. A local story holds that a rancher discovered bubbling water at a rock and blasted it open with dynamite. The spring’s remote refuge setting strongly shapes its character, and its official name has varied in geographic records and maps.
