Mount Logan Wilderness
Nature
Mount Logan Wilderness is a 14,650-acre federally protected area on the Arizona Strip in northwestern Arizona, within the Uinkaret Mountains and about seven miles south of the Mount Trumbull Wilderness. As part of Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument and managed by the Bureau of Land Management, it preserves a portion of this small regional mountain range in an undeveloped state. Its importance lies in protecting a remote landscape in this section of Arizona as part of the broader federal conservation system.
